RENEE STONE
Academic Director
Bachelor of Education

Renee is from Perth, Western Australia. She graduated from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Education and is currently completing a Master of Applied Linguistics. She has been teaching in Singapore for 5 years and she has lived in this lovely country for 9 years. In her free time, she enjoys exercising at the gym, playing tennis, swimming and travelling around South East Asia.
 
 
 
 
JUDY SCARROTT

Judy comes from country Victoria in Australia, where she taught in primary schools for many years. She is now at our Orchard branch after 3 years of teaching at Woodlands and Jurong East Branch. She is thoroughly enjoying her life in Singapore. Her interests include patchwork, embroidery, swimming and travelling.
 
 
 
 
  NATALIE FORSTER
Bachelor of Education

Natalie is an Australian teacher with a strong English and library background. She came to Singapore in 2004 after teaching in Canberra and has worked in  our Jurong East branch for several years. Natalie enjoys cycling, travelling and our Asian food.
 
 
 
 
CAROLYN HOWELL
Bachelor of Arts (Drama)

Carolyn began her teaching career in Canada before moving to New Zealand. She loves living in Singapore and being a mother. Carolyn joined the Morris Allen Study Centres at Orchard branch as a full time teacher. Her interests include health and nutrition, travelling and drama.
 
 
 
 
HELEN HIRST
Diploma in Primary Education

Helen has been teaching for many years, both in the UK and, for the past 8 years, in Dubai, UAE. She moved to Singapore with her husband and has a son and a daughter studying in Scotland. Her interests include reading, going to the gym and yoga. She is also a keen cricket fan. She is enjoying living in Singapore and is looking forward to travelling to other places in the area.
 
 
 
 
WAYNE HOWES

Diploma in Information Technology in Education

Wayne comes from New Zealand and has been living in Thames, a small coastal town that is about one hour from Auckland. Wayne is a primary school teacher with 25 years experience teaching in New Zealand primary schools. For the past three years he has been facilitating a teachers’ professional development contract for the Ministry Of Education. He enjoys meeting new people and exploring new places.
 
 
 
 
RUTH HOWES

Ruth comes from a little town called Thames on the western side of the Coromandel Peninsula of New Zealand. Wayne & Ruth have 3 sons, Bradley, Lloyd & Logan who gave their blessings for their parents to finally go overseas! Ruth is an Early Childhood teacher who has taught in many different kindergartens within New Zealand, for the last 4 years at Tairua Kindergarten. She is looking forward to exploring all areas in Singapore & beyond
 
 
 
 
NIGEL SHIELDS

Diploma of Teaching

Nigel has taught at Morris Allen Study Centres since 2003. Nigel comes from New Zealand. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree as well as a post graduate Diploma of Teaching. He has over 30 years teaching experience. His last teaching appointment in New Zealand was a relief principal in a number of rural schools. He delights in seeing children smile as they achieve understanding. Nigel shares his enjoyment of Singapore with his wife, Shirley.
