Wayne Howes
Academic Director
Prior to joining MAE in 2007 Wayne had more than 25 years teaching experience in various schools in New Zealand. As well as overseeing the Orchard Branch, Wayne finds teaching in MAE very rewarding. He believes in inculcating the students’ interest in learning and bringing the best out in each child. |

Ruth Howes
Deputy Academic Director / Teacher Librarian
Ruth is an early childhood teacher who taught in many kindergartens in New Zealand before joining MAE in 2008. She finds teaching a very exciting and enriching experience. Ruth is a gentle and patient teacher who transmits enthusiasm to students and fosters the children’s appetite for learning. |

Carolyn Howell
Carolyn began her teaching career in Canada before moving to New Zealand, where she taught at many different levels in various schools. She joined MAE in 2004 and has taught in both Orchard and Bishan branches. Carolyn loves living in Singapore and teaching at MAE. She shows genuine concern for every student and they respond very favourably to this. |

Greg Cradock
Greg is from Christchurch, New Zealand. He has extensive experience teaching children ranging from 6 to 13 years in various rural and city schools. In 2003/2004, he taught in Peterborough, England with his wife Joan and enjoyed living in a different community. Greg likes interacting with students and motivating them. He is friendly and full of wit which makes his lessons lively and enriching. |

Joan Cradock
Joan is from Christchurch, New Zealand where she taught for many years in different schools. With her husband Greg, she also found 18 months teaching in England both interesting and rewarding. Now in her second year at MAE, Joan really enjoys living and teaching in Singapore. She always creates a stimulating environment in which the children can learn best. |
