John began his teaching career in the U.K. near London. He taught in California and returned to England and became a Deputy, then an Acting Head Teacher. He arrived in Singapore in 1987 to work at an international school for two years. He began working for MASC in January 1996 as A.D. at both the Katong branch and later the Tampines branch, before moving to Simei. He enjoys cycling, tennis, photography and the arts. He particularly enjoys travelling.
PAMELA MASON Trained Teacher’s Certificate
Pamela originally came from Australia. She began her teaching career in Victoria. In 1974 she went to Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, where she remained for the next 12 years. After moving back to Australia, she worked as an Integrated and Special Needs teacher at Point Lonsdale Primary School where she also taught English to the Overseas Officers, Brisbane, Queensland. She has one son. Her interests include cooking, reading, patchwork, travelling and collecting silver items.
POPPY MCFARLANE Bachelor of Education
Poppy taught at Springlands School in Blenheim, on the South Island of New Zealand. She studied teaching and received her degree at the Dunedin College of Education. She then went on to live in a small country town in NSW, Australia, called Dubbo where she taught at both primary and secondary schools. She enjoys playing social sports and meeting new people.

Ayesha has taught in primary and secondary schools in New Zealand and the Maldive Islands. She is trained in Reading Recovery and has taught a wide range of students (from 5 year old new entrants to UK ‘A’ Level biology students). Ayesha is keen on maintaining a high level of physical fitness (she’s a regular at the local gym) and enjoys reading, walking and experiencing different cultural activities.
GRAEME BAUMGART Bachelor of Arts (English Literature) Victoria University

Graeme is a New Zealand trained English teacher. He has taught English at junior and senior levels in Tonga, New Zealand and the Maldive Islands. He has been Head of English at Otaki College for the past 10 years, as well as being responsible for external exams, senior student welfare and sports administration. Graeme is keen on cricket, golf and rugby. He also enjoys multicultural experiences, speaks four languages and enjoys travelling.

Ken is currently working as an advisor with the Ministry of Education in Napier, New Zealand. He has taught at many different levels both in New Zealand and overseas, including 3 years previously in Singapore. Ken has many interests including travel, learning, reading, film, cycling, swimming, cooking and especially eating and is looking forward to living and working in Singapore again.

Ann is a very experienced infant teacher who has been teaching 5 year olds at a rural school, Eskdale Primary, in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. She lives with her husband, Ken, in Napier and has four adult children. Her interests include cooking, arts and crafts, movies and travel. She is very much looking forward to joining the team in Singapore.
JESSICA GODYN Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
Jessica comes from the city of Newcastle located in New South Wales, Australia. She has worked with children aged from 2-8 years. Jessica has previously worked in preschool settings in Australia. Travelling is one of her passions and she also enjoys shopping, socializing and listening to various types of music.
ROBYN KEEN Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
Robyn is passionate about caring for the environment and is looking forward to Singapore's lovely clean atmosphere. Keeping fit and healthy, and meeting new people are two of her pastimes. She sets high standards for herself and those that she teaches but she is also a very compassionate person.
