Teaching Staff
All 45+ Morris Allen teachers are trained native English speakers. They are selected based on their dedication, passion and qualifications as English specialists and all are registered with the Ministry of Education to teach the English language.

Renee Stone (B.Ed) Assistant Principal
Renee is from Perth, Australia. She graduated from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Education and is completing a Masters of Applied Linguistics. Renee has resided in Singapore for more than 10 years and taught English here for 7 years.
In addition, Renee manages staff relations in MAE. She has an in-depth knowledge of the local syllabus and is well-loved by all her students

Greg Cradock Academic Director
Greg is from Christchurch, New Zealand, where he had extensive experience teaching children ranging from 6 to 13 years in various rural and city schools. In 2003/2004, he taught in Peterborough, England with his wife Joan and enjoyed living in a different community. Greg likes interacting with students and motivating them. He is friendly and full of wit which makes his lessons lively and enriching.

Tricia Mclay (Dip.Tchg) Deputy Academic Director
Tricia joined MAE at Bishan Branch in 2009 from Australia's Sunshine Coast where she had 25 years of teaching experience. She also taught in South Africa and in United Kingdom. Tricia is a keen traveller and her international experience makes her lessons very interesting and enriching. Having taught for 3 years at MAE, Tricia is keen to continue fostering learning for Singapore students.

Eric Smith (M. Int'l Mang't, B.Ed, Dip.Tchg)
Eric has had more than 30 years of teaching experience in schools throughout Australia, including many as Assistant Principal and Principal. He also spent several years teaching in Malaysia and is keen to repeat his Asian experience. His strong personal skills make him very popular with both adults and children and Singapore students will benefit greatly from his knowledge and caring approach.

Libby Smith (B.Ed.)
As well as raising 2 independent children, Libby has had nearly 20 years experience teaching students of all levels in a wide range of schools. Students respond very favourably to her genuine interest in them and her warm and caring nature. Libby is keen to apply her extensive knowledge and skills in Singapore.

Richard Harris (Grad Dip Special Ed., Dip Tchg)
Richard cames to MAE from a teaching family in New South Wales, Australia. He has extensive experience at all levels of primary school, teaching regular classes and also giving support to students with special learning needs.
His interactive teaching style and friendly personality make him very popular with his students.

Carolyn Guest (B.Sc, Grad Dip Ed, Grad Dip Lib & Info Studies)
Carolyn spent many years teaching in Australian schools before joining a prestigious private school 6 years ago as the head librarian. She has travelled extensively throughout Asia and enjoyed the culture. Carolyn's strong background in literature will greatly enhance the program she offers to Singapore students and her passion in teaching makes her popular among her students.
