Teaching Staff
All 45+ Morris Allen teachers are trained native English speakers. They are selected based on their dedication, passion and qualifications as English specialists and all are registered with the Ministry of Education to teach the English language.

Sallyann Eagle (Cert. & Dip. Tchg, Montessori Trainers Cert) Annex Head
Sallyann is a very experienced teacher from Britain who has been living in Singapore since 2004. She previously worked for more than 2 years as Deputy Academic Director of our Orchard branch.
Recently, Sallyann was involved in establishing Montessori schools in Singapore and Bahrain. She returned to MAE in 2010 and is enjoying using her high-level teaching skills with the younger students.

Jane Dickson (B. Ed, Dip Vis Arts)
Jane began her working career in the South Australian Health Department, then taught for a number of years in Australian primary schools. She spent several years at English centres in Japan, teaching students from Nursery to O level, before joining MAE in 2010, and has acquired very good knowledge of developing the English skills of Asian students.
Students respond well to her patient and caring nature.

Pauline Ash (Dip Tchg., Grad Cert Special Ed.)
Pauline comes to MAE from NSW Australia, where she has had nearly 20 years of experience teaching in Primary schools. Having lived overseas as a child and spent some time teaching in Malaysia, Pauline has a good knowledge of Asian education and is keen to apply her experience and skills in teaching Singapore students.

Douglas Anderson (M.A., Cert TEFL)
Doug comes from Boston in the United States. He has taught students in Taipei, Taiwan and university students in the United States. In keeping with his love of language, he completed an M.A. in Classical Literature and Linguistics.
When he is not teaching, he enjoys cooking, cycling and learning new languages. You can see his passion for teaching by the way he encourages the students to speak and think in creative ways..

Wayne Ash (M.Ed, Dip Ed, Grad. Dip. Ed. Studies)
Wayne has over 30 years experience in teaching, leadership and administrative roles in a variety of schools through NSW Australia, including some remote locations. He also taught for 3 years in Malaysia. Students will respond well to his lively approach to teaching and his sense of humour and they will benefit considerably from his extensive knowledge and skills.
