GEP Preparation Course 2011 [Closed!]
Mr. Morris Allen {B.A. (Hons), P.G.C.E., C.F.P.S.(Cantab)}, the founding Principal of the Morris Allen Study Centres, will once again be conducting a special course to prepare students for the General Ability component of the August GEP (Gifted Education Programme) Screening Examinations.
It will be a two week course, 10am - noon OR 2pm – 4pm, Monday to Friday for 2 weeks during the June holidays
About the Course

- Teaches time management (Do what you can, leave what you can't)
- Exposes the students to many examples of the 3 types of GA questions (Number puzzles, Word puzzles and Picture puzzles)
- Familiarizes the students with the different formats and demands of the GA
- Reduces their tendency to panic
- Teaches students to recognize the types of puzzles, shows them the strategies to solve the puzzles, and gives them practice in solving the problems
- Challenges students to think laterally
Eligibility Criteria

- Students must undertake an evaluation screening test to determine their eligibility for the course. There is a $20 fee for this evaluation.
- Only students who are currently at P3 level may participate in the course
- Students who are currently in a Morris Allen English Extension class, or in the MENSA programme are already eligible
